Jul 31, 2013 Pixie Hollow is one of our new must visit locations at Disneyland. Even though it’s been open for many years now we’ve never visited mostly because we’ve been daunted by the long wait time (45+ minutes on a busy day) and worried that because she hadn’t seen the movies Emma wouldn’t be as interested or excited to meet the Fairies. Description And Comments
Subsequent to the release of the Tinker Bell animated feature, pixies and fairies are all the rage (and have been in LA for years, but that's another story). An elaborate character-greeting area situated on the path connecting Matterhorn Bobsleds to the central hub, Pixie Hollow features Tink and a squad of her buddies in a standard character meet-and-greet. The line can be deceivingly long.
Touring Tips
Pixie Hollow accumulates substantial wait times just after opening in the morning, and lasts throughout the day until early evening when it closes. It also closes temporarily during parades (it's on the parade route). The best way to visit Tink is to line up 15 minutes before it opens, typically an hour after the park does (check the Times Guide).
